I try to bicycle whenever I can. It mostly depends on weather and time. When I do go out I try to record it here. You may notices that some of the entries have an asterisk next to the route number. This indicates that I lost the specific information for that ride but remember the route I took and therefore used some "defaults" for that route.

Here are some stats from some prior years:
1997:
Distance: 642.79 From March to August
Top speed was: 42.2 miles per hour
Average speed was: 17.35 <-- I only tracked this number for the last couple of months

1998:
Distance: 548.17 From April to September
Top speed was: 43.4 miles per hour
Average speed was: 17.02

1999:
Distance: 649.87 From April to July
Top speed was: 40.2 miles per hour
Average speed was: 17.21

I don't know where the records are for 2000
2001:
Distance: 416.39 From April through June (+ 3 small ones in December)
Top Speed: 39.2 miles per hour
Average Speed was: 15.76

2002:
Distance: 278.54 From May to July
Top speed was: 36.1 miles per hour
Average speed was: 15.84
Finding it hard to take the bike now that I have to travel at work and wear a tie.

This indicated what time of day or where I was riding to:
"A" = To Work (A.M.)
"B" = Before Lunch
"L" = Lunchtime
"M" = After Lunch
"P" = To Home (P.M.)
"T" = Evening Ride

Route designations have been changing from year to year. These designations apply for the year 2003 forward.
These routes are only estimations on the actual route. Based on weather or traffic I may take alternate side streets, but the overall route is basically the same.
1. Sahara - Alexander and Rampart/Durango south to Sahara. East on Sahara to Highland. North on Highland to Oakey. East on Oakey to Main. North on Main.
2. Oakey - Alexander and Rampart/Durango south to Oakey, East on Oakey until Main. North on Main.
3. Rampart - Alexander and Rampart/Durango south to Charleston. East on Charleston to Main st. North on Main.
4. Charleston - Gowan and Durango. East on Gowan to Buffalo. South on Buffalo to Charleston. East on Charleston to Main. North on Main.
5. Buffalo - Gowan and Durango. East on Gowan to Buffalo. South on Buffalo to Sahara. East on Sahara to Highland. North on Highland to Oakey. East on Oakey to Main. North on Main.
